Not content to rest on their laurels! British funkjazz group Jamiroquai headed by front man Jay Kay got a full STEEL ARENA dancing and singing. From the first minute of the concert, the stadium was alive.

Jay Kay, full of energy and dressed in a striped poncho with his irreplaceable hat, ran up on the stage and a few minutes after 20:30 o’clockit got going. He only stopped for a moment to shout to the audience: “Košice! Congratulations on winning the title of European Capital of Culture. You deserve it!” His words made the crowd excited and then it went wild.

Jamiroquai – seven musicians, three vocalists and Jay Kay himself – performed an amazing show. Great lighting effects, shapes and excellent sound really topped off their catchy funky songs and the audience appreciated it properly. The irrepressible Jay Kay did not give anyone time to take a breath. The musicians played continuously for over two hours. The singer was even on stage when he got changed. He swapped his coloured poncho for a green sweatshirt. At the end of the concert he made one more contribution, which got people stamping “You deserve it,” said Jay Kay.
